First Fridays of the Month on YouTube

Unwind with a blend of gentle yin yoga and timeless storytelling. Each month, I guide you through restorative postures that open the body while weaving in stories from myth, scripture, and lived experience.

Story-Time Yin is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and let both body and spirit be nourished. Perfect for seekers of all levels, this practice offers a spacious pause at the beginning of each month — a chance to reset, remember, and restore.

Guided mantra practice adds a sacred dimension, inviting you to connect voice, breath, and spirit in a way that grounds and uplifts. Whether you’re new to mantra or returning to a familiar practice, this class offers a supportive space to move, sound, and remember the wholeness within.

About Lauren

I’m Lauren Christian — author, spiritual director, and mindfulness guide.

My work is about helping people remember the sacred within themselves and in one another. Through books, spiritual direction, and retreats, I weave together embodied practice, interfaith wisdom, and a deep trust in the freedom that lives in us all.

I hold advanced credentials as an MDiv-SD-NR candidate at Loyola University Chicago and am a 500-hour E-RYT and YACEP with over 15 years of teaching experience. These paths shape my work at the intersection of spirituality, embodiment, and everyday life.

My forthcoming audiobook, I Am for Everyone: Guided Mantra Meditations, launches October 1st on Audible. Alongside this work, I also write books for exceptional kids and adults, offering both stories and practical skills to support authentic voice, contribution, and belonging.

When I’m not writing or walking along-side, you can usually find me adventuring with my husband, Alex, grooving with our kids, or walking with our dogs, Mo and Ruby.
